Strength Education

Strength Training (Small Group)

Science-based programming built on the Fulcrum Method. Groups are capped for quality coaching and individual attention — every rep has a purpose, every session moves you forward.

2x is perfect for maintaining strength alongside your other activities. 3x is our recommended frequency for optimal development.

Recovery & Foundation

Return to Fitness

Customized programming for injury recovery or coming back after extended time away. Strategic planning, care team coordination, and every workout adapted to your limitations, recovery timeline, and practitioner input.

3x per week $637 / month

How RTF pricing works: Return to Fitness is a +$20/session enhancement added to your strength training base.

2x/week: $297 base + $160 RTF = $457/month
3x/week: $397 base + $240 RTF = $637/month

1-on-1

Personal Training

Personal training is available for clients who need fully individualized attention — complex injury histories, specific performance goals, or preference for private sessions. Your concierge consultation with David determines if this is the right path and what it looks like for your situation.

How it works for most people

Start with Experience Plus ($297)

David conducts your Functional Movement Screen, teaches you kettlebell fundamentals, reviews your complete Fulcrum 360 Assessment, and builds your personalized roadmap. You'll know exactly where you stand and what path makes sense.

Move into Strength Training (2-3x/week)

Join small group sessions with programming built specifically for your level. Groups are capped so David can coach you individually within the group setting. Most people start at 2x and move to 3x as training becomes part of their rhythm.

Add RTF if you need injury or recovery support

If you're coming back from injury, surgery, or a long time away, the Return to Fitness enhancement layers customized recovery programming on top of your strength work. David coordinates with your care team to keep everything aligned.

Build independence over time

The goal isn't to keep you dependent on coaching forever. It's to build you up — educate you on why your body works the way it does — until you're training confidently on your own terms. That's the Fulcrum Method.

How is this different from Mo Fit's regular classes?

Mo Fit is a great community gym. Fulcrum operates inside Mo Fit but delivers something different — assessment-driven, physics-based programming with the founder coaching every session. It's not a class you drop into. It's a structured program designed for your body, your goals, and your timeline. Think of it as the difference between a gym membership and a coaching relationship.

I have an injury — can I still train?

Absolutely — this is exactly what the Return to Fitness program exists for. David has 30+ years of experience working with injury recovery, post-surgical rehabilitation, and complex health situations. He coordinates directly with your care team (PT, chiropractor, physician) to make sure your training supports your recovery, not works against it.

What does founding member pricing mean?

Fulcrum Honolulu is in its founding stage — David is personally building the community here. Founding member rates are a way of honoring the people who get in early and help establish what Fulcrum becomes in Hawaii. These rates are locked in for founding members even as pricing evolves over time.

Do I need to be fit to start?

Not even a little. The Experience Plus assessment meets you exactly where you are. David has started thousands of people — from complete beginners who haven't exercised in decades to former athletes coming back from injury. Your program is built for your body today, not some idealized version of yourself. That's the whole point.
