Education: Bachelors degree in Exercise/Health Science with a minor in Community Health and Business Administration. I have my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

What is your favorite part about being a personal trainer?

Seeing the tangible evidence that training is making a difference in someones life. Could be heavier lifting, easier activities of daily life, competing or even just having more confidence in themselves.

What are your favorite personal activities and hobbies?

I do Powerlifting, competing in squat, bench and deadlift. I also train in Muay Thai known as Thai Kickboxing.

What inspired you to get involved in health as a personal trainer?

Going into college I weighed close to 290lbs due to a bad mental state and poor eating habits. I got focused on my diet and training and nearly lost 100lbs during my initial start into training.

What is your biggest goal with your client as their trainer?

Depends on the person. Those coming from Physical Therapy it may getting mobility back after injury. For a competing athlete it may be getting them ready for competition. For someone who does not know what they want, we would figure that out together and grow an interest in fitness that could turn into a habit.
