Our Prices are Raising, Here’s Why

FitFam,

With the changes in our community regarding just about everything, this year has been all about rolling with the punches. Please see the following letter from owner and founder, David Levy, on the decision to increase our prices and leave any questions or concerns in the comment box at the bottom of the page.

The above letter reads;

Dear members,

If you’ve been around for the last year, you may have noticed that we have recently seen the departure of 4 of our treasured team members. Each FitPro stated finances as the primary reason for departure, due to the current inflation we are all experiencing. These departures and resulting losses of FitPro-client relationships interrupt our ability to provide you with the service you’ve come to love and don’t benefit anyone.

Additionally, Fulcrum is still recovering from Covid, inhibiting our ability to handle this predicament entirely from the company side. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to increase our prices commensurate with our inflated costs of doing business. A core value at Fulcrum is to provide a healthy environment for clients and staff alike. This pricing adjustment will go directly to providing a sustainable environment for our FitPros. Here are the most important bullet points, including the opt-out clause:

  1. Depending on how many times per week you come, prices will increase between $.50 cents and $1.50 per session if you have teams and between $2 and $4/session for small group sessions. The increase is 10% across the board on your existing membership and will be applied automatically prior to your next bill.

  2. This money will go directly to the FitPros who will each get a raise in their base wages equal to the percentage increase we collect.

  3. If you are someone who feels that you already overpay for the service by not coming that often, or you simply are not in a position to pay more for the service, you may choose to opt out by replying “OPT-OUT” to this email. Opting out will keep your current price until your renewal date at which point you will be asked to pay the new rate if you’re financially able to do so.

On behalf of the entire Fulcrum Team, I want to thank you. Whether you’re able to accommodate this change immediately or not, your membership keeps our community thriving even in unprecedented times. We are truly all in this together.

Thanks for your understanding of the situation.

Respectfully,

David Levy and Fulcrum Team
